The Nidecker Alrai W boots have been designed with several technologies, including the Dual Boa Coiler. This configuration offers an independent upper and lower fit for excellent support. They offer optimal comfort thanks to their EVA foam insoles that are pre-moulded to the anatomy of the feet. They have a silicone insert on top to improve traction while walking and a fleece layer underneath to warm the feet. The Alrai W's have a liner with an integrated lacing system that offers a constant fit. This also includes a lace locking system. The toe area has been designed with the Custom Flex Zone which improves comfort and allows for freedom of movement. The 8 mm PE foam further enhances this feeling. It can be adjusted by thermoforming. The ultra-lightweight BFT Gravity 2.0 outsole of these boots is made of a full-bed EVA foam that absorbs shocks. The soft rubber toe cap ensures an effective grip on the ground. The studs are unique in their resemblance to the tracks on snow groomers.
